Indian student arrested for sedition released from jail

JNU students are fighting to turn Ambedkar's dream into reality. I have no intention of joining mainstream politics or contesting any election.

Earlier, a forensic report revealed that two videos of the Afzal Guru event that were used as evidence of seditious conduct were doctored and words seen to incite violence were inserted in them. Condemning the February 9 event on the campus where anti-national slogans were raised, Kanhaiya said: "We strongly condemn what happened at the university on February 9". Mr. Kumar said he has "genuine political contrasts with Mr. Modi yet will concur with his tweet in which he said Satyamev Jayate(truth will win)".

He also urged the government to not press serious charges like sedition against students as it can ruin their future. It's for the court to decide if that was "raaj droh" (sedition) or not.
