
More snow in store for Thursday morning commuters
Snow is expected to continue through mid-morning before tapering off early Friday afternoon.
The National Weather Service in Green Bay has issued a winter weather advisory for Northeast Wisconsin including Door and Kewaunee Counties beginning at 6p.m. Two to four inches of snow is expected this evening, with a chance of freezing rain overnight. "Road conditions are expected to deteriorate fairly quickly after the snow begins, and remain slippery into the evening commute".
Clouds along with some breaks of sun for this afternoon with highs climbing back into the low to mid 30's.
The pesky storm system that's been lingering in parts of New Jersey has dropped 5 inches of snow in one region of the state, but most areas have gotten only 1 to 3 inches, according to preliminary snowfall totals.
Friday's going to be a windy, rainy day for Hampton Roads, according to the National Weather Service. Winds will be from 22 to 28 miles per hour, with gusts as high as 40 miles per hour, the weather agency reported.
Friday night will be partly cloudy, with a low of 25.
Thursday's low in Madison was 14 at 11:58 p.m., 6 degrees below normal and 22 degrees above the record low of 8 below for March 3, set in 2014.
