Instagram threat possibly referred to Romeo High School
It's actually a modified lockdown, meaning no one was allowed in or out at Lincoln High School Monday morning.
Students attended classes with an "increased police presence" and a "heightened awareness" at the school, according to the statement. However, class is expected to go on as normal today. "We do regular drills in our buildings so all of our staff and our students know exactly what to do should we have an emergency situation", said Michelle Baumstark with Columbia Public Schools.
"We have confirmed the exact same threat to several schools in Detroit, Warren, Ann Arbor, San Francisco, California and Tallahassee, Florida so far", officials said.
The Leon County Sheriff's Office says it is working to track down where these potential threats originated.

Lincoln Middle School in Warren, Michigan found schools across the nation with the same name are dealing with the same threat.
The Raytown Police Department says investigators are trying to find the computer IP address from which the threat was sent. Other district schools remained open.
Raytown High School students followed their regular schedules Tuesday morning, despite a second apparent social media threat against the school that police and school district officials were monitoring.
