A new development in the great Christmas cup kerfuffle of 2015: Dunkin' Donuts rolled out its own holiday cup, right, with the word "Joy" in large red type, encircled by green pine leaves.
Bristol Palin urged her followers not to fall for the controversy over Starbucks' holiday cups because it was "an attempt by the LEFT to make Christians look stupid".
True story: I stopped at Starbucks (I live a block away from one, but who doesn't?) this past weekend and ordered a vente decaf with sugar-free cinnamon dolce syrup and didn't even notice I should have been offended by the cup. "I don't know. Seriously, I don't care", he added.
Top-polling GOP candidate Donald Trumpeven hinted he might end the Starbucks' lease at his Trump Tower on Fifth Avenue. "I don't remember Starbucks ever being a Christian company, do you?" Past designs have included imagery such as snowflakes, snowmen and Christmas trees.
According to The Christian Post, a lot of religious conservatives were infuriated over the minimalistic Christmas cups of Starbucks. Shortly after revealing that the Holiday Flat-White would come to the 'Bucks, Starbucks has announced a new gingerbread beverage that is completely sans coffee. "So when I get in, I asked for my coffee, they asked for my name and I told them my name is Merry Christmas", said Feuerstein.
"Do you realize that Starbucks wanted to take Christ and Christmas from its holiday cups?"
Dunkin' Donuts says its design was not made in response Starbucks' cup and the heated debate if the cup represents the "War on Christmas" or not. "It's a red cup, folks".
"As the original "War on Christmas" five-star general, I have to say I don't see any problem with it", O'Reilly said Tuesday night on "The O'Reilly Factor".
"We're embracing the simplicity and the quietness of it. It's a more open way to usher in the holiday", Jeffrey Fields, Starbucks vice president of design and content, said in a statement. Once you allow employees to say "happy holidays" instead of "Merry Christmas", what's to stop them from dragging Christians out of the stores and feeding them to the lions?
