According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Rams are monitoring Manning's situation and have discussed the idea of bringing him to help the team transition to a first season back in Los Angeles.

Would Manning be up for another season physically if he wanted to play in L.A.?

Even if he were to keep paying, it remains unclear if Manning would even consider a franchise such as the Rams as an option.

The Los Angeles Rams are reportedly interested in Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning for the 2016 regular season. Second, there's the technicality of Manning being under contract with the Denver Broncos one more year, although either way he's not expected to be on the Broncos' roster next year.

Today's National Signing Day storylines and you can rent Roman Harper's apartment to watch Super Bowl 50. However, if he decides that he wants to stick around for one more year, the Rams could be a great destination for him.

Since missing the entire 2011 season because of multiple procedures on his neck, Manning has taken stock of his abilities each spring and summer, deciding what he is still capable of accomplishing on a football field. I think that's what would be the best decision for him as well, and hopefully he is able to go out with a Super Bowl win. There is no doubt that he isn't the same player he was 10 years ago.

Rams coach Jeff Fisher said Case Keenum will be the Rams starting quarterback entering the 2016 season, but the team is open to options.

"I've tried to stay in the moment, tried not to look back", Manning explained Monday during Super Bowl 50 media night.

Would it make sense for Peyton Manning to check out Los Angeles as a potential final destination?
