A youth died due to heart attack in Dhaka and another person succumbed to his injuries sustained while rushing out from his home in Rajshahi district, some 256 km west of capital Dhaka.
The tremor was felt throughout Bangladesh around 4:35 AM local time.
Nearly entire country was jolted strongly early this morning as a strong 6.6 magnitude natural disaster hit Indian state Manipur, an official of Bangladesh Meteorological Department(BMD) told BSS.

In Sylhet, which borders northeast India, 32 people injured in similar circumstances were admitted to the hospital.
As buildings started shake and sway at 5:05am, thousands jumped out of their beds and desperately tried to get out of their homes.
