
Why Brad Pitt is strict with his boys
Although Pitt's Christian upbringing may have backfired completely, the husband of Angelina Jolie still respects his father's lessons on life and acknowledges the fact that they have helped him in maintaining a family and in bringing up his six kids.
Despite being raised in a strict Southern Baptist household in Springfield, Mo., the 51-year-old actor is now a proud atheist. "But so much fun".
The actor revealed that he adheres to no religion in an interview with the UK's Telegraph on Saturday.
Maddox previously worked as a production assistant on his mother film By The Sea, which also featured his adopted dad Brad Pitt, but Angelina made sure the youngster was kept away from the set whenever his parents were filming uncomfortable scenes. She explained to the Observer magazine: "They're participating more in the choices of where we go". But one thing my folks always stressed was being capable, doing things for yourself. He said: 'I am [a disciplinarian] with the boys.
While talking about his big family, the actor said growing up he had a close friend who had lots of brothers and sisters and he loved staying with them.
"But I think if you're both strong-minded people, you push against each other".
He said: "Yeah, I'll get in there, I'll mess it up a little bit". He adds, "I was a pretty good actor before, but definitely hit and miss".
"There were lots of scenes I wanted to change or cut", she told the New York Times.
