Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner arrive at Lamar's hospital

Khloe Kardashian has made sure her estranged ex Lamar Odom was surrounded by loved ones as he celebrated his 36th birthday in a Los Angeles hospital.

A new report by Radar Online is claiming that Khloe is willingly paying for the debt the former National Basketball Association star is acquiring while he still is struggling to regain his health in a Los Angeles area hospital.

If that was not enough, the source says, "Khloé really lit into Lamar and accused him of being ungrateful", the source also said, adding: "Lamar was stunned by her anger".

Lamar's aunt JaNean Mercer released a statement to People on Friday on behalf of his family.

Reportedly, Odom revolted because several close friends have told him his celebrity wife used the whole situation to advertise her image.

While Odom is continuing with his recovery, Kardashian is promoting her new book titled "Strong Looks Better Naked", in which she slammed her sister Kim's ex-husband, Kris Humphries, for not treating her right, ET Online reported.

Meanwhile, the insider tells us that Lamar's recovery is going slow, but he's doing OK.

Despite Odom's spending his money on illegal substances and prostitutes, Kardashian wants to pay for his treatment after he suffered numerous strokes and lost a few of his motor skills.

"It's something very small and short, but it will make him feel incredible", People reports.

Lamar was hospitalized more than three weeks ago after being found unresponsilve with drugs in his system at a Nevada brothel.

A source told PEOPLE.com: "Since Lamar stabilised and moved from the ICU [Intensive Care Unit] to the inpatient rehabilitation unit, Khloé has visited less".

Also the Kardashian family was seen visiting Lamar, even though they were not supporting Khloe's relationship with him.

However, his brain injuries are said to be "still serious" and he is being treated as a victim of brain trauma after suffering multiple strokes.
