Joey Feek's Husband Talks About Her Heartbreaking Moments with Daughter

Joey was supposed to start her latest round of chemotherapy in mid-October, but after undergoing a CT scan to see if the cancer had spread, the doctors realized the medicine she was taking was no longer working and the cancer was still spreading rapidly.

Joey Feek of the country music duo Joey and Rory entered hospice care earlier this month, after making the decision to stop treatment for her terminal cancer she was diagnosed with previous year. "Then she grabbed the handles and pushed herself out of the room". Rory has been documenting his wife's battle on his blog This Life I Live, sharing updates and touching family photos.

"I wanted to make sure that Tim was remembered", he says.

"The last couple of mornings, I've brought IN up here [to the hospital] to spend time with her mama". Watching a commercial of the couple from years ago, Rory wrote, "Oh how attractive and full of life my sweet bride was then".

"Yesterday I sat her down in front of her mama and they smiled and played and loved each other the way that only mamas and their little ones can", he continued.

Over the weekend, Joey was rushed to the hospital with unbearable pain. The musician, who's part of the duo Joey + Rory, has been battling cancer.

"So we did what you do when the medicine isn't working, and the doctors are at a loss...and when the 'statistics" say you can do more chemo, but it will only buy you a little time...

"She told them how much she loved them, and how proud she is of them".

"Someday, when your moment comes with someone you love, maybe, just maybe, you will remember Joey and her words and voice and life will comfort you and her song will live on", Rory wrote.

Recently, country singer Blake Shelton, whose hit song "Some Beach" was written by Rory, shared his thoughts on the Feeks' struggle, telling ET, "The courage that they as a family have displayed - it's inspirational".
